Joseph "Joe" Shy

Joseph “Joe” Shy, 66, of Potosi MO, passed away Wednesday August 31, 2022, in DeSoto, MO. He was born in St. Louis, MO, August 6, 1956, to parents Howard Shy and Lillian (Grenia) Shy.

Joseph was someone who really enjoyed having fun, whether it was a bad day or a good day, Joseph was going to make it a fun day. He was an outdoors person, who really enjoyed going camping. In his free time, you would catch him being surrounded by family and friends, that’s what he enjoyed most.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Anthony “Tony” Shy and John Allen Shy.

Joseph is survived by his brother: William Shy of Farmington, several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Joseph will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Friday, September 9, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service was at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel and cremation followed. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
