Judy Jolene Kitchell, 72, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 9, 1952, in St. Louis, MO, to parents Joe and June Charlene (Fitzgerald) Winchester.
Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her life was marked by selflessness and love for those around her. After retiring as the kitchen manager at Clearwater Elementary, Judy found great fulfillment working at Family Counseling Center (FCC), where she mentored and positively impacted many individuals.
A woman of strong faith, Judy was a long-time member of the Faith Family Worship Center in Piedmont, where she shared her love for music and enjoyed singing with her cherished church family. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she will always be remembered for her kindness and unwavering spirit.
Judy was a talented cook and baker, known for her delicious meals and sweet treats. She had a love for travel, whether it was exploring the familiar gravel roads close to home or vacationing in the Smoky Mountains, a place that held a special place in her heart. Her passion for reading was also evident, as she enjoyed a wide variety of books throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Mike and Timmy Winchester.
Judy is survived by her four beloved sons: Thomas Ezell of Mill Spring, Rob Kitchell, Josh Kitchell and wife Mindy, Joseph Kitchell and wife Sarah, all of Piedmont; her treasured grandchildren: Julie, Lily, Jacobie, and Bella Kitchell, Damien, Ashley, Adam, Trenten, and Malachai Ezell, and Victoria Craig; brother: Jack Winchester and wife Mary of Alabama.
Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family, friends, and church community will hold her memory in their hearts forever.
Visitation was held at 12:30 pm, Monday, March 10, 2025, at Faith Family Worship Center, Piedmont. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also at the Worship Center. Pastor Wayne Street ministered to the family. Thomas Ezell, Rob Kitchell, Josh Kitchell, Joe Kitchell, Mike Winchester, and Matthew Winchester served as pallbearers. Special song Sis. Lynn Street.
