Keisha Dawn Allen, 43, of Silva, MO, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born in Herman, MO, on December 2, 1980, to Howard Lee Brinegar and Donna Jean (McClure) Palmer.
Keisha was a devoted wife, loving mother, nurturing grandmother, caring sister, and loyal friend. She married Michael Allen on August 21, 2006, and together they shared eighteen years of love, partnership, and adventure. Keisha was happiest when she was with her family, whether it was traveling the open road with her husband Michael or cheering on her children and grandchildren at whatever their goal is in life.
Known for her warmth, generosity, and vibrant personality, Keisha touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a true mother figure to many, always offering support, guidance, and love to any child she encountered. Her passions included crafting, cooking, playing Bingo, and enjoying karaoke. Keisha was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, often showing her team spirit with pride.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Kurtis Allen.
Keisha is survived her devoted husband; children: Dalton Brinegar of FL, Dakota Prior and fiancé Julie Watson of Poplar Bluff, Damon Prior, Jaden Allen and significant other, Khylea Holm, Ashten, Jaxsen, Chayse, Raylan, and Noah Allen, all of Silva; Taylor Hawkins and fiancé Curtis Niffen of Mexico, MO, and Desarea Allen and significant other, Rebecca Graham of Leadington, MO, and Journey Allen of Mexico, MO; grandchildren: Trever Hawkins, Jackson, Xander, and Cadence Niffen, and Joslynn and Jackson Watson; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Karen Allen; her mother-in-law, Cindy Sandifer; brothers Brian Brinegar and wife Julie of IL, Pete Hinton of New Florence; and sisters Paula Scheeler of Columbia, Sharon Penn of Montgomery City; dearly loved by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Keisha will be remembered for her unwavering love, her selflessness, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone around her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation was held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Rusty Rhoden ministered to the family. Jaden Allen, Desarea Allen, Ashten Allen, William Talley, Curtis Niffen, James Hawkins, Chris Green, and Kelli Shaffer served as pallbearers.
