Kenneth Ray Barks

Kenneth Barks, 55, of Villa Ridge, MO, formerly of Greenville, passed away, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in Villa Ridge. He was born in Advance, MO, on April 2, 1967, to parents Troy and Delores (Taylor) Barks.

Kenneth was an avid Cardinals and Blues fan. He enjoyed working, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Debra Jean Johnson. Kenneth is survived by his son Alex Barks and significant other Justice Dawson of St. Clair; grandchildren: Alexey Barks, Carter Barks, Aubrey Willord, Bryden Willord, Kingsley Barks, Jocelynn Barks; brothers: Roy Barks of St. Charles, MO, Donald Barks and wife Jerri of Richmond, VA, Gary Barks and wife Heather of Greenville; sister: Yvonne "Faye" Bollinger and husband Jim of Ballwin. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 6, 2023, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Glen Crutchfield ministered to the family. Alex Barks, Roy Barks, Donald Barks, Jim Bollinger, Bryan Bollinger, Daniel Barks served as pallbearers. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery.
