On October 16, 2025, our sweet, kind, loving boy finally found his peace. Lewis “Kyle” Woods was born on December 19, 1987, in Farmington, MO.
Kyle was the perfect baby, so happy and content. He was the sunshine that lit up so many of his family’s worlds. His kind loving soul always looked out for others. He was a loving partner, daddy, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Kyle’s babies were his world. Karigan was her daddy’s baby girl. He loved her to the end of the earth and back. Keegan was his daddy’s best friend, his mini me. Kayden’s time with his daddy was short but he was a daddy’s boy and loved to hear him play the guitar and sing.
Jessica Calahan was the love of Kyle’s Life and stood faithfully by his side. His love for her will carry on forever through their boys.
Kyle will be missed every second of every day by all the people who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his biological father Daron Lee Hampton; sister: Jessica Breianne Woods; grandparent: C.L. and Christine Woods.
Kyle is survived by the love of his life Jessica Calahan of Rolla; daughters: Karigan Goodman of Ironton, Briley Woods of Bismark; sons: Keegan and Kayden Woods of Rolla; his mother and biggest supporter: Glenda Merseal and stepfather Bret of Bonne Terre; his dad: Lewis Anthony Woods and partner Angie Brooks of St. Charles; sister: Taylor (Buttcheeks as he loved to call her) Woods of Desloge; brother: Peyton Merseal of Bonne Terre; grandparents: Jackie and husband “Pa Bill” William Brandmeyer of Bonne Terre, Glen and wife Patty Ruble of Vulcan, Imogene Fitzgerald and husband Charlie of Annapolis; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
