Linda Sue (Johnson) Smith

Linda Sue Smith, 65, of Mill Spring, MO, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at her son’s residence. She was born in Oglesville, MO, on June 6, 1955, to parents Herbert and Mattie Belle (McMeans) Johnson.  

Linda was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She married Timothy Grant Smith on December 8, 1974, and they were blessed with one son. She enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of her horses, riding trail rides, and helping on the farm. Most of all, Linda enjoyed being "mom." She was a dedicated mother and loved her son very much.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-four years.  

Linda is survived by her son: Jonathan Smith of Piedmont; sister: Debbie Collins of Poplar Bluff; and stepsister: Dolores Joe Harris of Poplar Bluff.  

A graveside service was held at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 4, 2021, at Carson Hill Cemetery, Mill Spring, MO. Bro. Seth Miller ministered to the family. Music was provided by Seth Miller, Esther Lahmann, and Elisabeth Wright. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
