Lois Jaco, 80, of Greenville, MO, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Lois was born on July 6, 1939, in Hiram, MO, to Ralph Charley and Pauline Effie (Allen) Barks. On July 24, 1957, she married Paul D. Jaco and to this union, two children were born. Lois enjoyed shopping, sewing, cleaning her house, and visiting McDonald’s on outings with her family. In her secret spare time, she enjoyed writing poetry. Her proudest accomplishment was her loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-nine years and a brother, Billy D. Barks. Lois is survived by her children, Sherry Parker and husband, Dennis, of Brunot; Danny Jaco of Greenville; grandchildren: Jason Parker, Kaydence Jaco, Reid K. Jaco, Shelly Finch and husband, Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Allie and Jasper Finch; nieces, Pam Birmingham and husband, Wayne, of Silva; Deanna Kelso and husband, Rob, of Walker, LA. Lois will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation was held at 4:30 pm, Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 13, 2020, also at the Greenville Chapel. Pastors Dusty Stroud and Marshall Link ministered to the family. Jonathan Finch, Reid K. Jaco, Jason D. Parker, Wayne Birmingham, Jim Boshell, and Austin Birmingham served as pallbearers. Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
