Loretta (Haggett) Wedepohl

Loretta Wedepohl, 89, of Potosi, MO, formerly of Greenville, MO, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Potosi Manor. She was born in Greenville, MO, on April 11, 1933, to parents Harvey and Naomi (Thornburgh) Haggett.

Loretta was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed needlework, embroidery, needlepoint and playing on her kindle. Her dog Prissy Sue was her life and best friend. Loretta attended Greenville School and spent most of her weekends in Greenville. She was a resident of Arnold for a long time.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wedepohl of fifty-three years; brother: David Haggett.

Loretta is survived by her son: Mike of Arnold; daughter: Rebecca Warden and husband Melvin of Potosi; brothers: Leroy Haggett and wife Erma of Patterson, John Haggett and wife Shirley of Patterson; grandchildren: Teresa and husband Dustin, Chris and wife Stephanie, Ryan, Alex and wife Alyssa; great-grandchildren: Caler, Mercedes, Chase, Tenley, Addi, Abram, Isabella. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 3:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Chris Warden ministered to the family. Music was provided by Stacey Burge. Brad Haggett, David Haggett, Caler Bernard, Chase Warden, Ryan Wedepohl, Alex Wedepohl served as pallbearers.
