Loretta "Bobbie" Marie Keck, 88, of Patterson, MO, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at her residence. She was born February 12, 1936, in Ripley County, MO, to the late Walter Henry Everhart and Francis Marie Babb.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Ernest E. Bennett, Robert (Bobby) Shaw, William (Bill) Shaw, Larry Badders, and her brother, Herbert Everhart.
Bobbie is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Daniel Keck; daughter, Mary "Jeanette" Stanfill; brother, James Everhart; grandchildren, Tonya Lamb (Randy), Sondra Linton (Matt), Shawna Culotta (Christina), Jennifer Shaw (Jodi), Billy Shaw, Max Badders, Tony Badders (Kate), Deanna Shaw, Robert Shaw (Amanda), and Robert Cooper. She also had 19 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. She had many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who will forever remember her kindness and affection.
Bobbie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Rings Creek Worship Center in Patterson and took great comfort in her Christian faith. She married Daniel Keck, on September 3, 1980, and together they shared a life full of love, adventure, and mutual respect. Bobbie enjoyed traveling with her husband, both in car and an 18-wheeler, experiencing new places and making memories together.
Bobbie’s passions were simple but deep. She had a love for fishing, gardening, and found joy in the quiet peace of the water. Known for her hospitality, Bobbie was a gifted cook and baker, and her home was always filled with delicious meals and the warmth of her presence. She was like a Florence Nightingale, caring for numerous family members in their time of need. She had an infectious personality that drew people to her, making them feel welcome, valued, and loved. Above all, Bobbie cherished her family, and her greatest legacy lies in the love and wisdom she gave them.
She will be deeply missed by her loved ones, but her memory will live on in their hearts. Bobbie’s legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is now at peace, surrounded by love and reunited with those who went before her.
Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Faith Family Worship Center, Piedmont, MO. Funeral service was held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, also at Faith Family Worship Center. Pastor Wayne Street ministered to the family. Bobby Turner, Grayson Culotta, Billy Shaw, Bobby Shaw, Bobby Doris, Jimmy Killian, and Cortney Turner served as pallbearers. Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery, Silva, MO.
