Loyd Woods

Loyd Steffson Woods, 61, of Patterson, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown, MO. He was born in Merkel, TX, May 1, 1961, to parents George and Barbara (Reeves) Woods.

Loyd was a loving father, grandpa, and brother. In the past he worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed taking rides on his Harley and spending time on the river. He was a huge racing fanatic; he especially was a Nascar and Jeff Gordan fan.  If you knew Loyd, you knew how obnoxious, funny, and loud he was. Loyd loved his children and grandchildren and was close with them all, they were his world.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Johnny Woods; sister: Gayle Harness.

Loyd is survived by his children: Jake and his wife Jessica Woods of Millersville, MO, Jess Hills and significant other Gabe Rust of Farmington, MO, Erica and her husband Meheonemashea White of Marble Hill, MO, Stephanie and her husband Devin Webster of Farmington, MO; brother: Jeff and his wife Georgia Woods of St. Genevieve, MO; grandchildren: Malachi Hillis, Cameron Woods-Duncan, Aiden Rust, Kendyll Keith-Webster, Muhalya White, Graylyn White, Nashlyn White, and Liam Webster. Loyd will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
