Marc Allen Crane, 72, of Greenville, MO, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Peach Orchard, MO, May 29, 1951, to the late Rev. Herbert “Jr” Eugene Crane and Mary Victoria (Provance) Crane.
Marc was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He married Virginia Elder on October 14, 1972, and they were blessed with four children. Marc worked for Sargent Construction Company as a Foreman for many years. He proudly served in the United States Army serving two tours in Vietnam. Marc was a Christian, of the Baptist faith and a devoted member of Kime General Baptist Church. He loved to read and study his Bible, learning all he could. His life was centered around his church and church family. Every Sunday, he would visit with family after church at his parents’ place where there was always a softball game. Marc enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially quail and dove hunting. He also enjoyed fellowship with his family and friends, sitting on the front porch drinking coffee. He looked forward to the family night 4-wheeler rides. Marc loved his family with all he had, especially his grandchildren. Marc’s favorite all-time hobby was getting in trouble with all the smaller children. It did not matter if they were his grandchildren or not, any child would do, he would put them up to no good knowing trouble would come their way. Marc loved to have fun.
