Marion Edward Moore Jr.

Marion Edward Moore Jr., 82, of Piedmont, MO, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 14, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Harviell, MO, January 15, 1940, to parents Marion Edward and Beadie Norene (Bruce) Moore Sr.

Marion was a loving husband, brother, and friend. He married Marcia Lynn Jerrell, October 4, 1970. Marion proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an honorary member of New Liberty Jacktown General Baptist Church in Clubb. He was a good Christian man. He taught Sunday School and enjoyed his church. Marion was a wonderful husband, a good provider, he was good and onery, and enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to tinker and work on cars.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Virginia Driggers and Maxine McMillion.

Marion is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-one years; sons: Christopher Lee Moore of St. Louis, Marion Moore III and wife Ruth of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Alexa and Brenna Moore; sister: Vivian Holt of Peoria, IL. Marion will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, April 18, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel.
