Mark Duncan, 69, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, February 20, 1955, to parents Beryl and Loberta (Tinker) Duncan.
Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He married the love of his life, Linda Sullens, December 1, 1978, and they were blessed with one son.
Mark worked as a shed supervisor for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) for many years. He was passionate about his work on the farm, where he spent much of his life raising cattle and enjoying activities like hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mark was a Christian and a dedicated member of the Williamsville First Baptist Church, where his faith guided him throughout his life.
Mark treasured spending time with his family, especially his grandson and great-grandson, who brought him immense joy.
In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by his brother: Gary Duncan.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 46 years; son: Marty Duncan and wife Jessica of St. Ann; grandson: James Duncan and wife Sadie of Williamsville; great-grandson: Jameson Duncan; sister: Elaine Libla and husband Doug of Poplar Bluff; many friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Mark’s memory will live on through the lives of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation was held Monday, February 24, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Williamsville, MO. Funeral followed at 1:00 pm, also at funeral home chapel. Pastor Arnold Edmundson ministered to the family and Jamie Eubanks provided a heartfelt eulogy. Butch Anderson, Donny Boyer, Donny Ard, Matthew Duncan, Marty Duncan, and Lee Hillis served as pallbearers. Burial was in Miller Creek Cemetery near Williamsville.
