Markel "Mark" Lyn Risby, 58, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, October 12, 1967, to parents Robert Lavon Risby and Edna May (Faulkner) Risby. Mark was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. He married the love of his life, Tamara, June 27, 1993, and together they built a life filled with love, faith, and cherished memories while raising their two sons. A man of strong Christian faith, Mark was known for his quiet nature, integrity, and genuine kindness. He worked for UPS for twenty-five years before retiring. Above all, Mark treasured his family, especially his sons and his beloved grandson, Henry. He is preceded in death by his father, and brother, Michael Risby. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his loving wife of thirty-two years; sons, Noah Risby and wife Savannah of Piedmont, and Samuel Risby of Jonesboro, AR; cherished grandson, Henry Risby; and many friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly. Mark's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of faith, integrity, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.
