Marline Jane Guillermo

Marline Jane Guillermo, 54, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her home. She was born in Sasebo, Japan, April 16, 1968, to parents Mariano and Jerline (Hawkins) Guillermo.

Marline served in the United States Navy for four years. She loved to find a good bargain, she would look for them at flea markets and yard sales. She enjoyed traveling, playing games on her phone, making jewelry, and being with her friends. Marline was a huge fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas, especially Jack Sullivan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Richard and Charlie Gay. 

Marline is survived by her brothers: Earl Gay and Junior both of CA; friends: Tina Pruett of Poplar Bluff, Cary Pruett of Patterson, David Harper of Patterson. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 24, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 12:00 noon, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. A special thank you to Tina Pruett’s Home Depot Co-workers: Kyle Dicky, Preston Hedrick, Mike Harris, Kyle Brown, Walker Ville, Ouadrickous Brewester for serving as pallbearers. Burial was in Rings Creek Cemetery, Patterson, with full military honors provided by the United States Navy and American Legion Post 281 of Piedmont.
