Marvin Ray Talley, 64, of House Springs, MO, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Fenton, MO. He was born in St. Louis, MO, March 14, 1961, to parents James Hillard and Mary Lucille (Martin) Talley.
Marvin was a dedicated brick layer by trade, known for his strong hands, hard work, and attention to detail. Outside of work, he found peace and purpose in the outdoors—spending time hunting and simply enjoying nature.
A man who loved to travel, Marvin especially treasured his vacations, with Hawaii being his favorite destination. He also enjoyed traveling with his sister and brother-in-law to softball games they coached, creating lasting memories along the way.
Marvin was a gifted craftsman who enjoyed working with wood, often building birdhouses and other small trinkets. He had a curious mind and enjoyed tinkering with vehicles and four-wheelers in his spare time. Music was a constant companion in his life, and he loved nothing more than relaxing with his favorite songs.
Above all, Marvin cherished his time with family. His kind heart, easygoing nature, and warm presence will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Joshua Talley; and brother: James “Jimmy” Talley.
Marvin is survived by his brother: Brian Talley; and sister: Rondalyn Ruble both of Des Arc; his ex-wife: Geraldine Talley.
Marvin will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family and many friends.
