Mary Edith Adamson, 70, of Patterson, MO, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Caney, KS, May 10, 1950, to parents John M. and Pearl E. (Renschler) Copeland.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She married Patrick Adamson on May 14, 2002. Mary work as a cook on a cargo ship for about ten years. She then worked in home health as a caretaker. Mary enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and loved to fish. In her younger days, she was an avid seamstress. Mary’s favorite pastimes were spent with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was always looking forward to shopping for birthdays and Christmas. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: John “Sonny” Copeland.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of eighteen years; children: David Lawson and wife Rachel of Piedmont, Dianne Haggett and significant other Clint Fisher of Piedmont, Amanda Skurat and husband Daniel of Perryville; grandchildren: Chase Haggett and Sandra of Piedmont, Vinny Haggett of Patterson, Haden “Bob” Copeland of Perryville, Kaden Copeland of Perryville, Baylee Lawson of Piedmont, Emily Lawson of Powhatan, OH, great-grandchildren: Oliver Haggett and Olivia Haggett both of Piedmont, Jackson Haggett and Harrison Haggett both of Patterson; sister: Peggy Ward of Patterson. Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation was held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Grace United Methodist Church, Greenville. A memorial service followed at 2:00 pm, also at Grace United Methodist Church. Bro. David Lawson ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
