Mary Louise Daly, 79 of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born in Patterson, MO, January 8, 1945, to parents Herbert Edward and Nina Lou (Clubb) Tucker.
Mary was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Mary married Ronald Joe Daly Sr. on October 15, 1963, and they were blessed with five children. She loved to go fishing and go on walks. She enjoyed nature and loved to sit outside and listen to the crickets, frogs, and whippoorwills. Mary looked forward to traveling and spending time at the beaches in Alabama. She enjoyed cooking and was well known for her fried chicken. Mary’s greatest legacy was her family. She especially loved to spoil her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of forty-years, Ronald; her oldest daughter: Rhonda Ann Allen, brothers: Cecil, William, and Kenneth Tucker; sons-in-law: Harold Allen, Timmy Burchard, and David McFadden.
Mary is survived by her companion of twenty years: Marvin Howard; children: Ronald Joe Daly Jr. and companion Jessica Irwin, Angela Daly, Lavonda Burchard, Melinda Ritter and husband Jack all of Piedmont; grandchildren: April Garver and husband John, Paul Scott Allen, Amber Robinson and companion Larry Buffington, Christopher Robinson, Joe Daly, Abby Iwrin, Ethan, Landan, Riley, Noah, and Dillion Flanary, Sophie Ritter, Sean Gibson and wife Lisa, Jake Allen; great-grandchildren: Raylan Sutton, Rhett Buffington, Brenley Buffington; adopted great-grandchildren: Sarah Allen, Jacob Allen, Wyatt Allen, and Monica Liveoak; brothers: Don Tucker and wife Sue, Walter Tucker and wife Birdie of Piedmont; sisters: Wilma (Waller) Webster and husband Gary, Robin Stone and husband William, and Jewel Jones all of Piedmont. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also at Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders and Wayne Street ministered to the family. Special gospel recordings were played. Jack Ritter, John Garver, Adam Tucker, James Tucker, David Brizuius, and Martin Waller served as pallbearers. Burial was at Meador-Flatwood Cemetery, Piedmont, MO.
