Mary Ellen Faulkner, 77, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Piedmont, MO, December 20, 1948, to parents Dallas Matthew and Lela Martha Belle (Grigery) Faulkner.
While she spent her later years in Springfield, Mary made her home prominently in Pevely, MO, where she created a lifetime of beautiful memories. A woman with a massive heart, Mary was a loving caretaker to many throughout her life. She was the ultimate anchor for her loved ones, serving as the dedicated family coordinator for get-togethers. She took immense joy in planning these gatherings and could always be found playing games and laughing with her family.
Mary loved flowers and she was proud of her beautiful solar lights and bear statues she had displayed in her yard.
In addition to her parents, Mary was reunited in heaven with her brother, Clayton Faulkner; sisters, Mildred "Babe" Griffon and Ruth Ann "Annie" Rutledge.
Mary is survived by her brother, Roger Faulkner and wife Judy of Springfield; sisters, Wilma Geisendorfer and husband Henry of Palmyra, and Janet Howe of Mexico; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary's warmth, nurturing spirit, and vibrant presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
