Mary Sue (Allen) Williams

Mary Sue Williams, 76, of Piedmont, MO, formerly of Siloam Springs, AR, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Springdale, AR, August 8, 1945, to parents Raymond Thomas and Mildred Inez (Ledford) Allen.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a USDA Food Inspector for many years. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Mary enjoyed crocheting, yard selling, watching her soap operas and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Allen; sisters; Ruby Easter, Ethel Denham; and grandchild, Jesse McGarrah.

Mary is survived by her children: Seth Mize and wife Cindy of Riverside, IA, Charlie Mize and wife Renea of Piedmont, Suzan Mize of Piedmont, Wendell Taylor of Piedmont; grandchildren: S.T. Mize and wife Jennifer, Larisa Pack, Brandon Mize and wife Amanda, Matthew McGarrah, Michael Garr, James Mize and wife Erica, Dillion Mize, Andrew Mize and wife Hannah, Lisa Ridgeway and husband James, David Mize; twenty-four great-grandchildren; brothers: Raymond “Bucky” Allen and wife Barbara of Rogers, AR, Ronald Allen and wife Wilma of AR, Arvin Allen and wife Patsy of Siloam Springs, AR, Charley Allen and wife Theresa of AR, Stanley Allen and wife Doris of Lowell AR; sisters: Eula Hill of Summers, AR, Anna Gibbs of Noel, Mildred Gibbs of Summers, AR, Evaun Mars of AR, many nieces, and nephews. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation was held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Rev. Vernon Garr ministered to the family. S.T. Mize, Brandon Mize, Matthew McGarrah, James Mize, Dillion Mize, Andrew Mize, David Mize, and J.C. Freeman served as pallbearers.
