Merilyn Kaye (Slusher) Baldwin

Merliyn Kaye Baldwin, 71, of Des Arc, MO, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT, September 14, 1949, to parents William Jackson and Doris Aubrey (Beck) Slusher.

Merliyn was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was quite crafty with her hands and enjoyed knitting, sewing, and making jewelry. She loved angels.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: William Jason Slusher.

Merliyn is survived by her children: Jon Isaac Sewell, Audra Kati Garcia; grandchildren: Amanda Renae Hodgkin, Aidan Thomas Slusher, Christian Sewell, Dalton Cole Burch, Kaleb Isaiah Burch, Tristan Jeremiah Burch, Brittney Nicole Burch, Machailey Shaye Burch; great-grandchildren: Ian James Yount, Aylynn Dairs Burch, Kaleb Isaiah Burch, Halleey Temprence Burch, Xander Owen Burch, Esme Grace Yount, Nova Jane Burch; brother: Ron Slusher, Lee Slusher and wife Maureen; sister: Kathleen Slusher. Merilyn will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
