Michael Gene Rogers, 76, of Annapolis, MO, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at his residence. He was born December 12, 1949, in DeSoto, Missouri.
Michael was a loving father, grandfather, brother-in-law, and friend. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. His time in the service reflected his courage, resilience, and deep sense of duty.
Michael married Rosemary Green September 27, 2003. Together they shared many happy memories and built a life grounded in love and companionship. He dedicated himself to providing for his family, working in many different factories throughout the years. He was known for his strong work ethic and his commitment to ensuring his loved ones were cared for.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife.
Michael is survived by his children, Colin Midkiff and wife Jamie of Ironton, and Tasha Kimes and husband Mike of Annapolis; his grandchildren, Austin Kimes, Charley Kimes, Desiree Midkiff, and Charles Midkiff; and his brother-in-law, John Paul Green of Annapolis.
Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who will remember his dedication to his country, his strong work ethic, and the love he had for his family.
