Michael Lee Street, 50, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Poplar Bluff. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, July 20, 1974, to Everett Clayton Street and Vickie (White) Rowell.
Michael was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, whose vibrant spirit and unforgettable personality touched everyone who knew him.
Michael had a deep love for music and was known for his breakdancing skills in his younger years. He had a free spirit and a fearless streak — as a kid, he was known for "skipping roofs" in St. Louis, simply for the thrill of it. He loved the outdoors and found peace in fishing and camping. Michael valued his time with family and always took pride in his appearance, never failing to show up looking his best.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Clacey Street, Leroy Street, and Tina Street.
Michael is survived by his children: Michael Street Jr. of Marble Hill, Brandon Street of Hillsboro, and Payten; grandchildren: Layla and Caden; his brother: Charles Osborne of Las Vegas, David Merrell of Creighton, NE, Sean Rowell of Creighton, NE; sisters: Valerie Voelker and Angela Green, both of Festus; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Michael’s life will be remembered with love, laughter, and stories that reflect his bold and spirited nature.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
