Mildred Craig, 80, of Kingston Springs, TN, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021, at St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was born in Hiram, MO, on December 6, 1940, to parents Grady Neomia (Tibbs) Allen.
Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. On April 8, 1961, she married S.G.M. Earl E. Craig and to this union three children were born. Mildred was of the Baptist faith. She had traveled to many countries and loved to go to Canada and Alaska to fish. She enjoyed painting; however, her greatest joy was her family and the time she spent with each of them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Loyd Allen, Loy Ray Allen; sisters: Mary Garner, and Lois Marie.
Mildred is survived by her children: Roy Craig, Lesa Beasley and husband Steve, Joe Craig and wife Hillary; grandchildren: Justin Beasley, Daniel Beasley, Taylor Hollis and husband Blake, Annabeth Craig, Caleb Craig; great-grandchildren: Jaxton Beasley, Landyn Beasley; brothers: Jay Allen of Greenville, Roger Allen of Greenville; sisters: Melba Joy of Cuba, Sue Henry and husband Michael of Silva; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held at 11:30 am, Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Kenny Burchard ministered to the family. Justin Beasley, Daniel Beasley, Caleb Craig, Cory Henry, Ken Joy, and Derrick Emerson served as pallbearers.
