Mildred Wilson Obituary

Mildred Wilson 89, of Fenton, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at her residence. She was born September 05, 1930, in Brunot, MO, to parents Oscar Elgin and Nellie Ann (Hinkle) Parker. Mildred was a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She grew up in Brunot, MO, and attended school there. She married Howard J Wilson on October 28, 1949, and to this union, three children were born. Mildred was a Christian and had past attended Affton Baptist Church. She was of Southern Baptist Faith. Mildred was the clear matriarch of the family. She took interest and great pride in her family and loved each and everyone, instilling strong values for all to follow. She enjoyed gardening and when she took intuitive, she could do anything. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Roy, Glen, Nolen and Zan Parker; her sisters: Laura Heath and Thena Wilson. Mildred is survived by her children: Roger Wilson and wife Janet of Crestwood, MO, Linda Pickins and husband Jim of St. Louis, Judy Fechtel and Troy husband of Fenton; grandchildren: Adam Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Ronnie Kammerer, Danny Kammerer and wife Emily, Andy Thompson, Emily Thompson, Olivia Fechtel, Michelle Duncan, Great-Grandchildren: Raven and Gabe Kammerer, Noah Storey, Jonah Storey, Jacob Storey, Allyson Duncan, Owen Kammerer, Ellie Kammerer, Emmett Kammerer; brother Elmo Parker; sister; Priscilla Clements and a host of nieces and nephews. Mildred will be greatly missed. A graveside service was held at 2:00 pm, Monday May 4, 2020, at Mt. View Cemetery, Des Arc, MO. Pastor Johnny Clements and Pastor Elmo Parker officiated. Adam Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Ronnie Kammerer, Danny Kammerer, Andy Thompson, and Emily Thompson served as pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhome.com
