Nickie Leroy Bonura Jr. 50, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born in New Orleans, LA, November 11, 1973, to parents Nickie Leroy and Mary (Migliaccio) Bonura Sr.

Nickie was a loving husband, brother, and friend. He married Lisa Tucker on August 18, 2000. He earned two master’s degrees at the University of Phoenix, one in Psychology and one in Criminal Justice. However, Nickie’s passion was cooking. He worked in many restaurants as a chef. He loved to listen to a variety of music.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Nickie is survived by his loving wife of twenty-three years; stepchildren: Ashley Komomorski and husband Philip, Cindi Vaover and husband Craig, Matthew Wells; grandchildren: Jillian Burns, Landon Vallence, Colin Komomorski, Lacy Vallence, Isabella Komomorski, Emily Vanover, Mavis Vanover; great-grandchildren: Riley Burns, and Easton Burns; brothers: Nino Bonura and wife Laurie of New Orleans, LA, Mario Bonura of Gulf Port, MI;. Nickie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
