Pamela Sue Helm, 58, of Greenville, MO, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born in Fredericktown, MO, July 14, 1966, to Gilbert "Owen" and Peggy Jane (Skaggs) Moyers.
Pam was a devoted wife, loving mother, nurturing grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her heart belonged to her family. She married the love of her life, Wayne Helm, and together they shared nearly twenty-four years of love, laughter, and adventure. Pam was a dedicated mother, always striving to provide for her children and offer them the best of herself. She worked as a clerk at Greenville Gas Mart, a job she held with pride and dedication.
Pam and Wayne shared many passions, from kayaking and camping to exploring gravel roads and muddy riverbanks, where they found joy in each other’s company. Pam was a woman who worked hard in every aspect of her life, having once worked in a sawmill when she was younger, never shying away from a challenge.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of twenty-four years; children: Danan Hinson and significant other, Tracy Wakefield of Fredericktown, Jesse Helm of Greenville, Amanda Hinson and significant other, Anthony Smiley of Glen Allen, Jody Helm of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Kailee Hinson, Sophia Fraire, Lucas Taylor, Patience Hinson, Bentley Hinson, McKenzie Hinson, Jordan, Gentry, and Jadyn Helm, and Piper and Parker Pitts; brothers: Gilbert Moyers and significant other, Whitney Wessell of Marble Hill, David Watkins and wife Karen of Perryville, and Lloyd Watkins, as well as a host of dear friends who loved her deeply.
Pam will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on through her family and friends. The world has lost a truly remarkable woman, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
