Patsy Sue (Moss) Santhuff

Patsy Sue Santhuff, 86, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont. She was born September 18, 1934, in Williamsville, MO, to parents James "Earl" and Silvia Moss.

Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She married Billy “Red” Santhuff on August 30, 1954 in Des Arc Missouri, and to this union three children were born. Patsy was very loving and happy to take care of everything and everyone. She never said a curse word nor ever raised her voice. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, sewing, and crocheting, and finding a good yard sale. She also enjoyed going fishing with Red.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years; step brother: James Edmond Moss, brothers: Earl Moss Jr., Jeffery Stuard Moss, Doyle Gene Moss, David Earl Moss; daughter: Karen Raney, mother in law: Mary Goodson Santhuff Lacy; father in law: Jesse "Til" Santhuff, brothers in law: Jerry Burrow, Bob Santhuff, Lyman Monroe, Ron Bouse; sisters in law: Sandy Moss, Delores Goad, Shirley Monroe and Loretta Anderson. 

Patsy is survived by her children: Billy Santhuff and wife Sandi of Piedmont, Debbie Hornung and husband Mike of Moscow Mills, MO, grandchildren: Justine Melton and husband Jed, Billy Santhuff III, Tim Raney, Courtney Lohman, Matt Hendrix, Brian Hendrix, Justin Smith; great-grandchildren: Taylor Melton, Seth Hendrix, Joshua Phoebe, Matthew Lohman, Emmarie Santhuff, Ryker Santhuff; brother: Joe Moss of IA; sisters: Peggy Burrow of Piedmont, Linda Kirkpatrick and husband Bob of Hillsboro; sister in law: Joyce Miller; brother in laws: Ronnie Santhuff, Donald Goad, Bob Miller; nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

Visitation was held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Billy Santhuff Jr., Timmy Raney, Mike Hornung, Seth Hendrix, Brian Hendrix, and Jed Melton served as pallbearers.
