Perry "Duane" Wood

Perry “Duane” Wood, 70, of Williamsville, MO, passed away February 23, 2021, at St. Francois Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born November 18, 1950, to parents Perry C and Lillian L. (Ballew) Wood at Poplar Bluff, MO. 

He was a Dump truck driver for Joe Taylor for several years at Williamsville. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, deer camp, fishing, and stock car races. He was very family oriented and never met a stranger.   

He is survived by one sister, Phyllis “Elaine” Thompson of Williamsville, MO; and a host of other brothers and sisters. He is also survived by good friend Danny Birdsong. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Becky Wood. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 1, 2021, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, MO. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
