Pete Williford

Pete Williford, 66, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Elvins, MO, December 23, 1954, to parents Walter G. and Beulah R. Williford. He was spiritually born again on March 12, 1992.

Pete was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He married Denise L Ervin on April 12, 1990. Pete worked at Windsor Foods in Piedmont until he retired. Pete was a member of Victory Baptist Temple in Piedmont and loved to attend church. He had a burden for lost souls. Pete truly enjoyed driving the church van. He loved to be around his family and friends and enjoyed BBQ get-togethers. Pete will be greatly missed by his family, church family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Denny, Stanley, Roger, and Kenneth Williford, two nephews, and two great-nieces.

Pete is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty-one years; children: Brandie L. Young, Jerrod Ervin and wife Sara of Chesterfield, MI, Sarah Skielnik of East Point, MI; grandchildren: Adalay Skielnik, Anna Marie Skielnik, Richard Skielnik, Victoria Ervin, Ethan Ervin, Ivy Ervin, Hudson Ervin, and one on the way; brothers: Eddie Williford and wife Barbara of Elvins, Jerry Williford of Elvins, Larry Williford and wife Brenda of Doe Run; and sister: Brenda Lee of Elvins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Victory Baptist Temple, Piedmont, Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also at Victory Baptist Temple. Bro. Scott Miller ministered to the family. Bro. Brian Wilson read the obituary. Pianist was Sis. Sara Edgy. Chuck Adams, Roger Bearden, Larr, Borner, Greg Brinkley, Brad Gipson Mike Miller, Seth Miller, and Bryan Raddatz served as pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
