Rebecca “Becky” Ann Wood, 64, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, November 19, 1957, to parents Neil Joe and Alta Mae (Gill) Groves.
Becky was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She married Michael Wood on April 5, 1978, and they were blessed with one son. She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended First Assembly of God Church in Williamsville when she was able to. Becky enjoyed helping others and worked in home health before becoming a cook in a boarding home. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and riding around the gravel roads sightseeing trying to spot wildlife with her husband. Becky also liked to cook and growing her flowers. She loved to play cards and board games, be around people, especially her family, telling stories to her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter: Katlyn Marie Wood; brothers: Gary and Greg Groves and sister: Sandy Eaton.
Becky is survived by her husband of forty-four years; son: Craig Alan Wood of Farmington; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many friends. Becky will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service was held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Military Crossing Cemetery, Williamsville, MO. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. John Strange, Josh Wood, Rex Wood, Gary Wood, Derek Hillis, Jonathan Strange, Zack Abney, and Joey Lee served as pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
