Rev. Danny Lynn Robinson entered Heaven on Monday, September 9, 2024. Danny was born to the late Walter and Aliene (Marler) Robinson on January 1949, in Leachville, Arkansas.
He is proceeded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 35 years, Kathleen (Allen) Robinson. They were united in marriage on February 5, 1968. He is proceeded in death by one daughter Christina Salsman, one son Jason Robinson, two grandchildren Ryan Robinson and Ariel Salsman, two sisters Olene Pennington and Maxine Barker, and one brother James Robinson.
Danny is survived by one son Troy Robinson and wife Melissa of Piedmont, one daughter Charity Robinson Piedmont. Three grandsons Trent Robinson and wife Chelsea of Piedmont, Christopher Salsman and wife Paige of Greenville, and Jason Robinson and wife Tina of Piedmont. One granddaughter Chelci Kimes and husband Brandon of Patterson. 12 great-grandkids Kaiden, Colton, Gage, Natalie, Cora, Peyton, Owen, Max, Emmett, Elaina, Thomas, and Dixie brothers: Louie Robinson and wife Linda of Greenville, Dale Robinson and wife Rita of Greenville; sister: Tina Wilkerson and husband Dwight of Bloomfield; brother-in-law: Dennis Allen and wife Alice of Elsinore; sister-in-law: Pam Willis and husband Tom of Patterson.
Danny was an amazing preacher, husband, father, grandpa, pa, brother, and friend. He devoted his life to God and his family. Danny pastored Mt. Zion General Baptist Church for 33 years. He touched many lives preaching God’s love. He strived to tell everyone about God’s everlasting love. Even in his hardest times he made sure to share his love for God and tell everyone how God blessed him. Anyone that knew him knew he loved his family. He was a hard worker and made sacrifices to provide the best life for the ones he loved. Danny enjoyed going on road trips with his daughter, spending time with his family, and pestering his grandkids. Anyone who met him loved him. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Friday, September 13, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. A second visitation was held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, September 14, 2024. Funeral service followed at 3:00 pm, also at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. Burial was in Meador-Flatwoods Cemetery, Piedmont. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
