Robert "Robbie" Fulton

Robert “Robbie” E. Fulton Jr, 44, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, at St. Louis University Hospital. He was born June 1, 1975, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to parents Robert and Carolyn (Stevenson) Fulton, Sr. Robbie was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He married Valerie Gaines on March 13, 2020. She was his loving companion for eleven years. He grew up in Patterson and was a 1993 graduate of Clearwater High School. Robbie worked in sales at Clearwater Flooring in Piedmont. He enjoyed working for John and Charlene and they thought of him as another son. Robbie enjoyed camping, kayaking, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and anything outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Robbie is survived by Taylor Gaines and Nick Middleton  who he thought of as his sons, both of Piedmont; a sister, Sherrie Chitwood, and husband, Aaron, of Ellington; mother-in-law, Betty Fischer, and husband, Bill; father-in-law, Rick Gaines and wife, Cindy; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation was from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Graveside service was held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Patterson Cemetery. Bro. Dan Ross and Bro. Jule Maskrod ministered to the family. Ronnie "Bub" Myer, Tommy Costillo, Brian McDole, Ronnie Joseph Smith, Matt Graham, and Jeff Lutes served as pallbearers. James Street, Taylor Gaines, Nick Middleton, Mickey Callohan, and Bobby O'Brian served as honorary pallbearers. Burial followed service. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
