Robert “Bob” Lee Faulkner, 79, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, MO, December 29, 1943, to parents Earl and Leona (Montgomery) Faulkner.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was raised in St. Louis and was a Wellston High School graduate. Bob married the love of his life, Juanita Davis, on January 24, 1970. He was a wise man and a good provider. Bob was a man that put his family before his own needs. He retired from McDonnell Douglas after thirty-five years of service in the receiving and shipping department, as well as a parts inspector for airplane parts for military planes. Bob accepted Christ as a child and was a Godly man. He past attended Second Baptist Church in Piedmont and was a current member of Friendship Baptist Church in Piedmont as well as a deacon and trustee. He enjoyed playing the trumpet in church as well as with the Salvation Army in his earlier years. Bob was an avid craftsman. He loved to work with wood and made highchairs for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed mechanics and carpentry.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters: Dianna Lynn and Sandra Marie Faulkner.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years; children: William Faulkner and companion Susan of Marietta, GA, Pam Deckard and husband Rick of Piedmont; grandchildren: Reese, Rowan, and Van Faulkner, Brent Deckard, Dawna Gore and husband Nick; great-grandchildren: Baylee, Raylen, Braylen, Kayden, Alayna, Kameron, Aleaya. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service was held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 18, 2023, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Don Hutto and Pastor Stan Gray ministered to the family. Rick Deckard, Rodney Deckard, Brent Deckard, Stan Faulkner, Ray Deckard Jr., and Joe Maus served as pallbearers.
