Robert "Bob" Lee Libla, Jr. was born 9 September 1949 in Poplar Bluff. He was preceded in death by both parents, Robert Lee Libla, Sr (2008) and Dorothy Marie Faulkner Libla (2004) and one nephew, Todd Libla. Bob passed away in his sleep 17 November 2021.
Bob married Debbie Hurt Brown on 26 May 2000 in Corning, AR. She survives.
He leaves behind his children, Melissa Warmack and husband Jimmy of Greenville, MO
Brent Libla and wife Dannell of Fenton, MO and Jesse Burley Brown of Logan, UT; grandchildren, Kyle Greer and wife Tiffany, Eric Greer, Bailey Greer, Drew Ganime and Emma Ganime and great grandchild, Jack. Bob is survived by brothers, Danny Libla and wife Jan and Billy Libla and wife Tenna, all of Greenville, MO, nephews Ryan Libla of Fredricktown, MO and Scott Libla and wife Lesly of Hillsboro, great nephews Dean and Dylan Libla of Hillsboro and in-laws John Hurt and wife Connie of Poplar Bluff, MO. Bob leaves behind many friends and family members including Daddy's girl, Pearl, a boxer mix.
Bob traveled the world but always came home to Greenville, MO. He was known for his business acumen and philanthropy. He started many businesses in Greenville and the surrounding area. Bob enjoyed hanging out at coffee shops with his friends.
. Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:30 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Louie Robinson ministered to the family. Brent Libla, Kyle Greer, Drew Ganime, Jimmy Warmack, Jessie Brown, and Ryan Libla served as pallbearers. Burial was in Greenville City Cemetery.
