Ronald Edward Clark, 76, of Piedmont, MO, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. Ron was born November 20, 1947, in Ironton, MO.
Ron was a 1965 graduate of Clearwater High School. On July 14, 1964, Ron married Mercia Leeper, and to this union four children were born. Mercia passed away July 25, 2021. He and his wife owned Piedmont Homes, and he was pastor at Faith Christian Church in Piedmont for many years. In later years, Ron and Mercia moved to the Springfield area, and he sold cabinets and then outdoor furniture for his son Brent’s shop. He loved meeting and talking to people while working at the Branson Landing. His last days were spent with his daughter Ronda and family in Piedmont and at the Lutheran Assisted Living Home in Cape Girardeau. Ron had a kind soul and a great sense of humor. When you saw him, he usually had a smile on his face and a witty word.
Ron is survived by his family that meant so much to him. His children: Ronda Polk and husband Brian of Piedmont, MO, Brent Clark and wife Tina of Ozark, MO, Brandon Clark of Jackson, MO, and Kristen Usher of Nixa, MO; loving grandchildren: Jessica Sentell and husband Eric, Jacob Polk and wife Mindi, Ben Clark and wife Bethany, Noah Clark and wife Lauren, Haden Clark and partner Nicole, Natalie Clark, Clark Usher and partner Sara, Isaac Usher, Lincoln Smith, Alexander Smith, Marcus Smith, and Abigail Smith; loving great grandchildren: Stryder Sentell, Roux Clark, and Ember Polk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Fred Drucker and his loving wife.
A graveside visitation was held at 1:30 pm, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Masonic Cemetery. Graveside service followed at 2:00 pm. Pastor Brian Abbott ministered to the family. Pastor Alan Conner read the obituary and gave a heartfelt eulogy. Hayden Clark, Ben Clark, Noah Clark, Clark Usher, Isaac Usher, Stryder Sentell, and Eric Sentell served as pallbearers.
