Ronald Lee McKee

Ronald “Ron” Lee McKee, 81, of Piedmont, was born on August 22, 1939 in St. Louis, MO and died on February 24, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center, Sikeston, MO.  He was the son of Charles Raymond and Louise (Cox) McKee.

He was united in marriage to Patsy Hank and to this union two children were born, Charles Ray McKee, and Cheri Lynn Zumbehl, both of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren: Angela McKee, Carey Rawlings, Nicholas Zumbehl, Shawn Potter, and Kyle Potter great-grandchildren: Layla, Patrick, Hazel, Gracyln, Logan, Aubrey, Jaxon and Kaden.

On March 21, 1992, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ann (Freeman) Bequette and she survives.

Other survivors include stepchildren: John Bequette and wife Nancy of Ft. Wayne, IN, Sherryl Lynn Clay of McKinney, TX; step-grandchildren: Sean Clay, Aidan Clay, Kattie, Maggie William, Monica, CeCe, and Teresa Bequette.

Ron is preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald, and Gary McKee.

Ron was of the Protestant faith, attended the Patterson Assembly of God Church and was saved in 1978. He drove a courier Truck for DHL, enjoyed the outdoors, baseball, bowling, and was an avid golfer, along with fishing, car shows, and auto racing. He and Ruth liked to travel to their favorite vacation spots, including Pigeon Forge, TN, Destin, FL, and Myrtle Beach, NC. Ron will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation was held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Patterson Assembly of God Church, Patterson. Funeral service followed at 4:00 pm also at the Patterson Assembly of God Church. Bro.
