Ruth Ann Schuller (Eastman), lovingly known as “Rae,” passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, at the age of 72, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Rae was born on May 21, 1953, in Ironton, Missouri, to her beloved parents, Iva Jo Eastman (Kirkpatrick) and Bill Eastman, who preceded her in death.
On June 7, 1989, she married the love of her life, Randy Schuller. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother, and the world’s absolute best Nana.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Randy Schuller; her children, Jacob Lutes and wife Tamara Lutes, Magan Smith, and Whitney Kinnard and husband Nathan Kinnard. She was a cherished Nana to Andrew Smith, Austin Lutes, Tristian Soo, Olivia Smith, Bailee Oros, Olivia Oros, Ben Lutes, Lizzy Oros, Logan Lutes, Emily Oros, Isabella Kinnard, and Evelyn Kinnard. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Bud Schuller and wife Lesa; her niece, Clarissa Schuller-Meyer and husband Jason; great-nephews Nathan and Andy; and many loving first cousins, extended family, and dear friends whom she loved deeply.
Rae owned and operated a florist shop for many years, where her creativity and passion for beauty flourished. She had a true gift for gardening and could make any space bloom with warmth and life. She was also the proud owner of Trips Away Travel Agency, sharing her love of travel by helping others explore new places and create lasting memories.
A devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Rae faithfully served in children’s ministry and found great joy working with Vacation Bible School. She took pride in serving and loving others, always making everyone feel special and welcome.
Rae loved her family and friends fiercely. She lit up every room with her radiant smile and energetic personality. She treasured traveling with her husband Randy and her best friends, spending time with her beloved Yorkies, and gathering her family close whenever she could.
She was a bright light in the lives of so many and will be missed more than words can express. Her legacy of love, joy, beauty, and adventure will live on in all who knew her.
