Samuel “Sam” Faraone, 63, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, in Sikeston, MO surrounded by his family. He was born in Williamsville, MO, February 1, 1959, to parents Everett Faraone and Mary (Groves) Gorden.
Sam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He married Betty Morey on Sept 25, 1976. He worked as a mechanic for Williamsville Tie and Lumber for over forty years. Sam enjoyed working at the mill and staying over after work spending time with his buddies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. Sam loved his family and sitting on the front porch with Betty. Special times were family get-to-gathers and being with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter: Rebecca Allsup, sister: Charolette Avila; nephew: Christopher Faraone; niece: Brianna Bradshaw; and father-in-law: James Morey.
Sam is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years; children: Nicholas Faraone of Poplar Bluff, Cody Faraone, Joseph Short, and Lance Faraone, all of Williamsville; special niece: Jamie Lynn Morey who he loved like a daughter; grandchildren: Morgan Faraone and Carmen Faraone both of Poplar Bluff, Jess Faraone, and Jase Faraone both of Williamsville; brothers: Ricky and Daniel Faraone both of Williamsville; sister: Dinah Hillis of Poplar Bluff. Sam will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation was held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 26. 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Williamsville Chapel. A graveside service followed at 4:00 pm at Holliday Cemetery, Williamsville, MO. Pastor Helen Edwards ministered to the family. Bobby Boyer, Clint Boyer, Joey Morey, Brandon Morey, Mikey Morey, and Josh Bratton served as pallbearers.
