He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Marvin W. Dickerson Sr. and Geraldine (Hillis) Brannon; paternal grandmother: Shirley Kenworthy; aunt: Glenda Fulford; cousins: John I.W. Dickerson, Rick Adams, and Larry O’Neal.

Sam is survived by his parents Marvin Dickerson and wife Sue of Williamsville and Terri Disckerson and companion, Larry Tate of Austin, TX; sister: Amy Dickerson of Austin, TX; nephew: Landon Bowman; great uncle: Theodore R. Hillis of Williamsville; uncles: Robert Dickerson of Mt Home, AR, Ted Edgell and wife Barbara of Jeffersonville, IN, Keith Kenworthy of Overland Park, KS; aunts: Barbara Lynch and husband Marshal of Satellite Beach, FL, Sandra Winningham and husband Gary of Spencer, IN, Keri Arvin of Waterloo, IL; several cousins and many dear friends.
