Sharon Kay Wilcut, 65, of Salem, MO, formerly of Patterson, MO, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Seville Care Center, Salem. She was born in Poplar Bluff, November 19, 1954, to parents James “Hadley” and Velma Rae (Henderson) Street.
Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She married to Jimmy Lyn Wilcut on November 6, 1976, and to this union two children were born. She was secretary and dispatcher for the Wayne County and Reynolds County Sheriff’s office. Sharon was of the Baptist faith and a member of Clearwater United Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She also enjoyed sewing, being at home, outdoors, watching traffic go by.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of twenty-seven years.
Sharon is survived by her children: Jimmy Lyn Wilcut Jr. and wife Kay of Redford, Charles Thomas Wilcut and wife Brandy of Salem, Debra Wilson of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren: Gharret Wilcut, Kanyon Wilcut, Michael Wilcut and Madison Wilcut; great-grandchild: Emeral Wilcut. Sharon will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation was held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont. Funeral service followed at 11:00 am, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Alan Casey ministered to the family. Pallbearers were Gharret Wilcut, Kanyon Wilcut, Ronnie Street, Jerry Peppers, Jeff Parker, and Richard Sanders. Burial was at Rockwell Cemetery, Patterson.
