Sheila K. Whitlock, 52, of Evening Shade, AR, passed away February 14, 2026, after a painful thirteen-week battle with cancer, which she faced with unbridled courage. She was born in Columbia, MO, March 9, 1973, to parents Harold and Evelyn (Dalton) Durrow.
Sheila was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was raised with strong values, a steady heart, and kindness that never wavered. Her dreams of a sprawling farm, with a lake for fishing, and plenty of woods for hunting, along with a man to love her with all his heart was realized when she married Paul Whitlock and moved to Evening Shade, AR. Sheila loved her large family most, and loved to ride motorcycles, eventually owning her own. She also enjoyed camping, cool evenings on the porch, and time spent at the cabin in the woods. Although nine years was all the time Sheila and Paul had to spend together, they were able to pack a lifetime’s worth of love in that short span.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Sheila is survived by her loving husband; mother: Evelyn Malloy and husband Ed of Silva, children: Jade Dyer, Matthew Hillis, and Kaitlyn Clatterbuck and husband Brennan; fourteen grandchildren; brother: Mike Fuller of Piedmont; sister: Sue Hammond of St. Louis. Sheila will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Sheila will be remembered for her beautiful smile, unwavering love, and kind spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon, also in the Greenville Chapel. Burial will be in Military Crossing Cemetery, rural Williamsville. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
