Shirley Zook

Shirley Zook, 78 of Piedmont, MO passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in St Louis, MO. She was born in Emenice, MO, on November 7, 1941, to parents Ernie and Delphie (Duncan) Frye. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She attended First Baptist church in Piedmont for many years. She worked at Switzer Candy Company for thirty years before retiring to the Piedmont area. Shirley enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing her guitar, country music was her favorite.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Zook; one son, Terry Eugene Zook; one brother, Robert Frye, and one sister, Wanda Davis. Shirley is survived by her children: David Zook and wife Andrea of St. Louis, Christine Zook of Piedmont; grandchildren: Charity “Joy” Werner, Justin Jones, Jessica Jones, Terry Michael Zook; great-grandchildren: Kaylie, Landon, and Novah Jones, Alexis, Haley, Brooklynn, Loehlyn; daughter-in-law: Mary Zook.  Visitation was held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont. Funeral followed at 1:00 pm also in the Piedmont Chapel. Bro Richard Sanders ministered to the family.  Pallbearers were Brad Frye, Bobby Bennett, Jeff Glass, Justin Jones, Terry M.
