Tammy Marlynn (Rogers) Whitaker

Tammy Marlynn Whitaker, 59, of Lonedell, MO, formerly of Lowndes, MO, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Advance, MO, to parents Charles Jerome Rogers and Leota (Crutchfield) McFall.

Tammy was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved flowers and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and fishing, especially with the grandkids. Tammy also enjoyed the outdoors watching wildlife or feeding the deer. Her greatest legacy was her family.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Whitaker; brother: Russell Rogers; sister: Theresa Rogers.

Tammy is survived by her mother: Leota McFall; daughter: Amanda Vogler of Lonedell; Mark Barbay companion of six years; stepsons: Mark Barbay and wife Coleen and Matthew Barbay both of Londell; grandchildren: Adriana, Natalie, Trenton, Gabriella, and Isaiah Vogler, Roman, Paisley, Elias, and Tucker Barbay; brothers: Edwin Rogers of Union; Travis Rogers and wife Michelle of Greenville, Shane Rogers and wife Susan of Lowndes, Donald Rogers and wife Erica of Lowndes; sisters: Rebecca Hicks and husband Melvin of Lowndes, Heather Fischer of Poplar Bluff, Holly Parks and husband Robert of Poplar Bluff, Monica Burke and husband John of Piedmont; her loyal best friend sissy her dog; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Tammy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Friday, June 30, 2023, at Community Church of Christ, Lowndes, MO. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Community Church of Christ. Bro. Dale Rogers and Jeremy Rogers ministered to the family. Travis Rogers, Donald Rogers, Edwin Rogers, Melvin Hicks, Mark Barbay, Matthew Barbay, Trenton Vogler, Isaiah Vogler served as pallbearers.
