Tanya Hillis Obituary

Tanya Christine Hillis, 44, of Silva, MO, passed away Friday, February 12, at her residence. She was born in St. Louis, MO, on August 1, 1976, to parents Keith B. and Debra M. (Vassallo) Marlow. Tanya was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married Eric Hillis on August 1, 2005. Tanya had worked as Assistant Manager at Break Time, Silva, MO, for five years until January 2020. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4-wheel riding, and the outdoors. She liked watching movies, and she loved animals, especially horses. Tanya had a good sense of humor, strong faith, and was family oriented. She loved and adored her family. Tanya will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of fifteen-years; children: Bryan James Crutchfield of Silva, Cody Alexander Crutchfield of Silva, Eric Wayne Hillis II of Williamsville; grandchildren: Branton Hillis, Sawyer Reese; brother: Terry Marlow and wife Erika of Poplar Bluff; sister: Kelly Todahl and husband Bruce of Greenville; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel.
