Teri Reed Obituary

Teri Lynn Reed, 66, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont, MO. Teri was born June 15, 1958 to parents Walter E. and Shirley J. (Shepard) Eoff at Franklin, IN.

Teri was a lady of many talents. She could be summed up by faith and family. She was raised in northeastern Missouri and graduated from Bowling Green High School. Terri had strong Christian faith and had attended New Hope General Baptist Church at Silva. Jesus was her everything and it showed in her daily life with her family and the dedication to the communities she served as a radio operator and dispatcher first in communities such as Bollinger, Marion and Shelby County, MO, and later with Missouri State Highway Patrol at Troop B before retirement. In her early career she had also worked as an emt.

On April 18, 1981 she married George M. Reed and she was a blessing to him. In her later years she enjoyed traveling with George to Alaska and Hawaii. Teri lovingly created crochet bed coverings for all her children and grandchildren. She was a mother and grandmother that worked hard to make sure her family was on the right path in life.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her loving children: Donald Reed and wife Tonya of Glen Allen, MO, Steven Reed and wife Rachel of Silva, Kathryn Cassity and husband Butch of Palmyra, Sarah Scearcy and husband Chris of Brainard, MN, Terry Lynn Reed of Poplar Bluff; Step son, Everett Reed and wife Susan Christine of Glen Allen, MO; grandchildren: Bailey, Benjamin, Blaire, Dalton, Clayton, Colton, Lilly, Savannah, Kyleigh, Adlyn and Mallory; Brother, Ron Eoff and wife Wendy of Dallas, TX; sister, Jennifer Giaimo of St. Charles.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, John Drew Reed.

Her passing will create a void, but her memory will live on.
