Thomas F. Henderson

Thomas “Tom” Franklin Henderson, 61, of Ellington, MO, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Iron County Medical Center, Pilot Knob, MO. He was born July 8, 1961, in Butler County, MO, to parents James Thomas and Joyce Eyvonne (Gray) Henderson.

Tom was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Tom enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting, and riding his 4-wheeler. He was an avid pool player. Tom loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and his four-legged best friend, Lola “Buggy”.

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Henderson.

Tom is survived by his children: John Henderson of Ellington, Mindy Henderson of Piedmont, stepson: Anthony Davis of Piedmont; grandchildren: Zachery Henderson, Elijah Beerbower, Natalie Beerbower, Faith Henderson, Chase Henderson, and Jasalynn Williams; sisters: Lauraye Townsend of Des Arc, Nina Henderson of Jefferson City, and Glenes Henderson of Piedmont; nieces and nephews: Dana Townsend-Wade, James Craigmiles, Steven Craigmiles, Sheena Craigmiles, Casey Maleport, Jennifer Robinson, Cynthia Howell, and Kathleen Hartley; several great nieces and nephews. Tom will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation was held Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 12:30 pm until 4:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral service followed at 4:00 pm, also at the Piedmont chapel. Cremation followed service. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
