Tommy Lee Hopkins

Tommy Lee Hopkins, 56, of Greenville, MO, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Alexandra, VA, April 27, 1968, to parents Robert Hopkins Sr. and Lois (Helm) Upchurch.

Tommy was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Tommy never met a stranger and was well liked by everyone. He was a lifelong carpenter, and loved to cook Cajun style foods, the hotter the better. Tommy was a loving; kindhearted person and he had a soft spot for animals. He was well known for his mischievous grin, was always the class clown in school and would do anything to make you laugh. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Timmy and Teddy Hopkins.

Tommy is survived by his mother: Lois Upchurch; son: Trevis Hopkins; grandchild: Quinn Hopkins; brothers: Todd Hopkins and fiancé Victoria of Cape Girardeau, Robert Hopkins Jr. of Marshfield; sisters: Melissa Domangue and husband Barry of Nepoleonville, LA, Margo Hopkins of Springfield, Tammie Ganime of Fredericktown; bonus children: Coty Dwight of Ellington, Anthony Dwight of Poplar Bluff, Asia Dwight of Greenville; bonus grandchildren: Christian, Lillian, Dameon, Tanner, Isabella, and Isiah. Tommy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chaple. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Trevis Hopkins, Todd Hopkins, Tracen Hopkins, Robert Hopkins Jr., Barry Domangue, and Spencer Domangue served as pallbearers.
