Tony "Cowboy" Magill

Tony "Cowboy" Magill, 75, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, June 11, 1948, to parents Frank and Susie (Mitchner) Magill.

Tony was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He worked in the automotive industry in the Buick Motors Division, Flint, MI, for several years. Tony was an avid musician. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He loved his animals. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Linda Magill.

Tony is survived by his children: Jessy Stout and husband Roy of Piedmont, Ashley Connell and husband Dusty of Piedmont, Shannon Magill of Phoenix, AZ, Rick Magill and wife Jeannie of Port Orange, FL; grandchildren: Amaya Callahan, Anthony Duncan III, Gracie Connell, Riley Stout; companion: Kathleen Thibault; brother: Raymond Magill of Redwing, MI; sister: Maryanne Whitney of Otter Lake, MI; and a host of friends. Tony will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 12:00 noon, also in the Piedmont Chapel.
