Wayne Jacob Buffington

Wayne Jacob Buffington, 77, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at his residence. He was born in San Diego, CA, November 24, 1945, to parents Alvy Daniel and Wilma (Skaggs) Buffington.

Wayne was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed traveling and was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. Wayne also enjoyed going to the river and riding his 4-wheeler. His favorite hobby was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Larry Daniel and Richard Lee Buffington.

Wayne is survived by his four sons: Larry Buffington of Piedmont, Jacob Buffington of Osage Beach, Todd Buffington and wife Amy of Piedmont, James Buffington and wife Dawn of Burfordville; bonus daughter: Amanda Kendrick-Mays; grandchildren: Rhett Buffington, Brenley Buffington, Malory Buffington, Ean Buffington and wife Sydney, Todd Buffington, Paige Buffington, Payton Buffington, Preston Buffington, Braxten Buffington, Jaden Liggett, Kyllie Kendrick, Lydia Mays, Cadynce Mays, Landon Mann; great-grandchildren: Macklyn and Myla Martin, and Gracie. Wayne will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
